  • RECYCLE • REUSE

    We are not able to totally eliminate packaging, but commit ourselves to use only recyclable packaging. We've partnered with our local recycling center to meet this goal. By 2023, we plan to become a more sustainable brand and offer our customers the opportunity to help us meet this goal by returning their product packaging for recycling and reuse.

    We love formulating the best possible products with love and effective results in mind. Our product formulas go through testing to ensure that they are safe for your skin. It's so important to us that our formulas are free of artificial and other harmful ingredients that can hurt not only your skin, but your health. ABOUT THE BRAND

OUR PRODUCTS

All of our formulas have natural and food grade preservatives that are approved by the FDA. We use (Potassium Sorbate and Sodium Benzoate) as our primary natural preservatives to ensure there are minimal irritations when using our products.

 

POTASSIUM SORBATE

A salt of sorbic acid. It's a natural organic compound found in the berries of the mountain ash. It is an odorless and tasteless salt synthetically produced from sorbic acid and potassium hydroxide. Potassium sorbate prolongs the shelf life of foods by stopping the growth of mold, yeast, and fungi.

 

SODIUM BENZOATE

It is produced synthetically by reacting benzoic acid with sodium hydroxide. Produced by combining benzoic acid with baking soda or soda ash. This reaction makes it soluble in water (benzoic acid on its own isn't soluble in water). Sodium benzoate is not a toxin or carcinogen on its own. Benzoic acid is found in many plants, including cinnamon, cloves, tomatoes, berries, plums, apples, and cranberries. Additionally, certain bacteria produce benzoic acid when fermenting dairy products like yogurt

We choose to combine natural and synthetic preservatives because our products are not sold in any retail stores. Preserving products that sit on retail shelves require stronger preservatives (synthetic) to ensure the product can have a longer shelf life. Our products are all made fresh every day to ensure the potency of ingredients with a shelf life of 12 months opened and 18 month unopened.

OUR PROCESS

At JUICEE KINKS, all our products are lovingly made in-house at our HQ in Hamden, Connecticut by our close-knit family team.

Each product is made in small batches to guarantee freshness. In small batch skincare, smaller batches allow the products to always be fresh, natural, and good for your skin. Small batch production also allows us to be more flexible and creative with our formulas. 

WHY SMALL-BATCH

In large-scale manufacturing, assembly lines, machines, and dozens of people assemble products following an unchanging recipe–they each do their part without thinking about it or its effect on the final product. We know exactly what goes into all our products, and the benefits each ingredient brings. Our ingredients all come from trustworthy sources to ensure the best quality. 

FRESHNESS IS IMPORTANT

Another benefit of our small batch process is that the products are fresh before they get to the hands of customers. Our products don’t go through commercial transportation, sitting in hot storages and being exposed to hot and cold temperatures. We keep our products in protected spaces, and many of them are kept in the fridge to ensure the freshness of the products when they get to your hands. Producing in large batches means that finished products will often have spend months or years on shelves before they reach a consumer. Knowing this, large-batch producers have to use strong preservatives to make their products last longer. These preservatives are often unnatural, can be detrimental to your body and skin, and dilute the active ingredients in the product.

Please allow up to 5 business days for us to process your order.
Processing time is the days required to process your order prior to shipping. (Business days are Monday through Friday and exclude holidays and weekends.)

SHIPPING (INTERNATIONAL ORDERS)


We do not offer international shipping at this time.

 

RETURNED SHIPMENT (INCORRECT ADDRESS)


If a package is returned to
Juicee Kinks due to an incorrect or incomplete shipping address provided by a customer, the customer was not home for delivery or if the package exceeded the maximum amount of time to be held at a pick-up location, the customer will be responsible for the return shipping cost as well as the redelivery cost. Juicee Kinks is not responsible for packages delivered incorrectly or lost due to incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by a customer, no refunds will be provided if any parts of the address are incorrect.

No refunds, replacements or credits will be issued for orders confirmed to have been delivered to the address provided in an order.

LOST AND STOLEN PACKAGES


Juicee Kinks are not responsible for lost or stolen packages that have a confirmed delivery to the address entered for an order. Upon inquiry, Juicee Kinks will confirm delivery to the provided address, date of delivery, tracking information and shipping carrier information for the customer to investigate.

It is up to the customer to provide an accurate address when entering their shipping information. Please contact the carrier for any information regarding the delivery. Have your tracking number available to provide to the carrier to assist with the investigation.

 

DAMAGED AND MISSING PRODUCTS


Please inspect your package as soon as it arrives at its destination. If any item is damaged upon arrival, pleas
e email us at customerservice@juiceekinks.com.

All damaged claims must be submitted within 14 days, along with photo evidence (highly suggested) in to ensure proper resolution.

CAN I RETURN A PRODUCT FOR A REFUND?

We believe in the effectiveness our products. If you are not satisfied with any order you placed with www.juiceekinks.com, then you may request a refund within 30 days, which begins 7 days after an item's ship date.

To request a refund, email us at returns@juiceekinks.com. Include your order number in the email subject line (order number starts with “JK#”) and the reason you are requesting a refund. You may also fill out the form below with the same information and submit for review.

In most cases, we will honor your refund request as subject to our refund guidelines described below. Please note that (except for refunds due to defective or damaged products) shipping charges are non-refundable and for international orders, duties and taxes are also non-refundable.  

If your item arrives damaged or defective and you would like a refund or exchange, please contact us at returns@juiceekinks.com within 30 days, which begins 7 days after an item's ship date and include your order number in the email subject line (order number starts with “JK#”), photo documentation of any reported damage or defect, and we’ll take care of the rest.

CAN I RETURN A FINAL SALE ITEM?
No, Items marked final sale at the time of purchase are nonrefundable.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO PROCESS A REFUND?

You will receive an email confirming your refund. 

Refunds will either issued to your credit card company or bank depending on your method of payment.  Refunds may take up to 10 business days to process. Please contact your bank or credit card company regarding the status of your refund, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If after 10 business days you still have not received your refund, please contact us at info@juiceekinks.com
